The Blaxter reel features a durable, compact PowerBody frame, an ATR-3 line roller, and a Direct Drive handle designed according to the No Backlash principle (no play or looseness).
The Silent Drive oscillation system ensures perfectly even line or braid lay. The reel is equipped with a powerful drag system with steel and felt braking discs. The spool is machined from aluminum, and no spare spool is included.
The bearings in Blaxter reels are corrosion-resistant and protected from saltwater.
