The main reel mechanism is based on the Golden Catch AIRRONE reel and consists of 32mm aluminum and brass drive gears. The Mirrox drive gear is mounted on two support ball bearings. This arrangement of the bearings ensures smooth rotation and prevents the main mechanism from seizing during rotation under heavy load.
The fishing line winding mechanism Golden Catch MIRROX is operated using a lever and has an idle gear drive reducer in its design. This slows down the speed of the spool and results in a tight winding of the line.
