Exceptionally lightweight ice auger – Mora Ice Ultra Light 150 mm / 6”.
It weighs only 1.9 kg! That’s 44% lighter than other ice augers with the same spiral diameter. The secret behind this light weight is the use of composite materials instead of metal. During development, the new Arc Tec Polymer was used to replace metal in the spiral, while the proven Syntethetic ArcTec®, already used in Mora Nova augers, was applied to the cutting head.
The Mora Ice Ultra Light features a shortened spiral, allowing you to drill through ice up to 120 cm deep. The total length of the auger can be adjusted thanks to the telescopic handle, which can be completely removed from the spiral – making the auger more compact for easy transport and storage.
The auger comes equipped with replaceable, very sharp steel blades manufactured using specialized machinery to ensure a consistent and high-quality structure.
The blades can be quickly and easily replaced, even out on the ice, saving you time during your ice fishing preparations.
The handles are ergonomically designed to provide support from below, while steel bearings make drilling smoother and easier.
