Description
Mora Ice Nova Black ice auger is designed for drilling through thick ice up to 120 cm in depth. It features innovative material use and a reliable folding and locking mechanism. The ergonomic design helps conserve energy during drilling. The auger spiral is made from high-strength steel and is 10% lighter than traditional spiral models. The composite-reinforced cutting head offers excellent stability and torsional rigidity compared to steel cutting heads.
The special spherical Mora Ice blades are designed for fast ice drilling in various conditions – whether in wet or dry ice. They perform efficiently in both extreme cold and thawing weather. The ideal blade positioning and shape, combined with a complex sharpening and universal cutting angle, allow the auger to "bite" into the ice by itself, giving anglers more time to enjoy their favorite activity. Blade replacement is quick and safe – there's no need to remove the blade guard to loosen the screws. The cutting head is also easily replaceable.
The Mora Ice Super Nova auger offers the option to extend the spiral while maintaining a very low weight. It can be used both manually and with a powered auger or electric drill (using a 22 mm adapter).
