Description
GC Stinger Hard rig – designed for the effective use of large soft plastic lures. During development, we consulted with many tournament anglers, identified the weaknesses of stinger systems currently available on the market, and eliminated them. Thus, in our opinion, we have successfully developed the perfect stinger! Here is the list of our improvements:
- We moved away from crimp sleeves and flexible cables, as they turned out to be a weak point that fails at the crimp location. Instead, we used stainless steel wire twisted at the fixation points.
- All components of the rig are selected with an extra margin of safety, which is always lacking during trophy fishing trips.
- Furthermore, such rigs typically use a retaining pin fixed in a single position, which damages the lure at the point of attachment. We made the tail pin movable, allowing you to insert it into an unused spot.
- The pins feature a curved design for better retention inside the lure body.
We also utilize a free-hanging hook system, which significantly improves hook-up ratios, especially when fishing unweighted soft plastics where pike attack from below and traditional back-rigged hooks lose their effectiveness.
